Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Requesting quotes lets our concierge share moving criteria — route, size, and date — with licensed companies so they can price the job. Name, phone, and email stay with our desk. Those companies pay us to compete for your business. Under California law and several other state laws, sharing even those job details can count as a sale or sharing. You can opt out.

What happens when you request quotes

We do not send your name, phone, or email to moving companies. We share the job — two ZIP codes, the size of the load, and a date — so they can price it. Those companies pay us to compete for your business. That transfer of move details is the “sale or sharing” this page lets you opt out of. We do not sell your contact details to data brokers or to an open marketplace.

What opting out does — and does not do

It stops us sharing your move details with movers in the future.
It does not retrieve job details already sent to a company that priced an earlier request — contact that company directly to exercise your rights with them.

How to opt out

Email hello@8topmovers.com with the subject “Do Not Sell/Share” from the email address you submitted, including the phone number you used, or call (866) 483-0163. You can also write:

We honor requests from authorized agents acting for you, and we will never treat you differently for opting out.
