8 Top Movers is a publication and a quote-request service. We rank long-distance moving companies and, at your request, introduce you to companies that can serve your move. We are not a moving company: we do not transport goods, set the prices movers charge, or become a party to any contract between you and a mover.

8 Top Movers is an advertising-supported comparison service. Rankings reflect our editorial judgment applied to pricing transparency, claims handling, delivery reliability, and customer experience. They are our opinion, not a measured rating, and we do not publish per-company scores or review counts. Moving companies pay us to compete for your business — for a listing, and when we put your job through our network of eight. You never pay us, and using this desk does not increase the quote. That pay does not buy a higher number. Requesting a quote is a moving-concierge service: we share only moving criteria (route, size, date) with those companies. They send pricing to us. They never receive your name, phone, or email. You choose which mover to go with, based on the estimates. It is never a booking and carries no obligation.

• your name, phone, and email stay with our desk and are never sent to the eight companies; they see only the job criteria and send pricing to us; you choose which mover to go with; you never pay us, and using this desk does not increase the quote, under the consent shown on the form and described in the Privacy Policy

Company information is provided as-is. Before you book any mover — from this site or anywhere else — verify its operating authority and insurance yourself on the FMCSA’s public registers, and get every promise in writing.

• no scraping, bulk copying, or republication of the rankings or write-ups
• no false, automated, or bulk quote submissions
• no interference with the site’s security or rate-limiting controls

The site’s content — rankings, write-ups, methodology, and design — belongs to 8 Top Movers and may not be reused commercially without permission.

The service is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for the acts, omissions, pricing, or performance of any moving company you engage, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site.
